When you have to get a colonoscopy, you are required to flush your colon and digestive system by fasting, drinking only fluids, then drinking a bottle of this bubbly laxative and some other laxatives and then this big gallon jug of turbo lax stuff.
All that combined does work, but I don't see the point of doing it outside of prep for a colonoscopy.
If you want to detox, just fast for a day, drink clear fluids and water. Skip the colon cleansing scam. Skip the laxatives. Don't do that to your system and don't pay it to anyone to do it either. It's not healthy.
*Edited to add: What everyone has failed to mention about these cleansing methods is the very PAINFUL abdominal cramps and diarrhea during the ';Cleansing'; process.Colon cleansing?
If you get it done at a clinic, it's great. You feel healthier and just plain lighter after it's all said and done.
The first time you get the enema, it feels weird. It will sometimes even hurt. But after it is said and done, you'll want it more and more. It's kind of like getting your back popped back into place.
I would really only go to a clinic to get it done.
A garden hose is free and will do the same thing.
It's a scam. Use Ex Lax and you'll take a huge dump. Your colon will be cleansed, guaranteed.
I've tried Dr. Natura's Colonix system, and I felt that it really worked for me. My stomach became flatter, I was much more regular, and I felt like I had more energy. I never saw any worms or parasites leave my body.
I never saw anything like those pictures on drnatura.com but I do feel it was worth it. It did clean me out and made it easier for me to become regular. Don't just look at the actually product sites, try searching for blog that share their colon cleaning experiences. I found this site to be helpful in my decision. http://www.coloncleanseproductreviews.co鈥?/a>
Good luck!
I have tried colon cleansing. It's actually amazing just how much sludge ones colon can build up.
Do you know that when John Wayne died, his colon weighed 80 pounds?
Think of you colon as a plumbing pipe. Over the years sludge just builds and builds. The more sludge there is, the more sluggish your colon gets. Besides, most of your nutrients are absorbed through your colon, so if its caked with sludge, it's not going to absorb much of anything.
I highly recommend you try it. You'll feel great.
Rectal enemas are best reserved for dislodging fecal impactions. Regular enemas tend to make the body dependent upon them for evacuation. 25-30 grams of fiber, 8 glasses of water is a healthier alternative. Have a healthy year.
They do not clean as well as an enema or colonic. But for people who do not want to do the enema which is the fast and effective way, they can spend the money for systems. See site below for more on this.

oh nooo.. just use some kind of laxative type product... go to the pharmacy... go to the section where they sell diarehea products.. and purchase some LAXATIVE... OR--- you can go to your doctor and ask him/her about it too. There are some done by professionals.
It does ';cleanse'; you. It's good to do about every month... Just be sure you don't have plans for the next day .. or 2 afterwards.. .Begin on a Friday night.. so you should be okay for monday .. it'll give you a whole new meaning to ';the runs';.. lol
don know
forget it
better strategy is to eat more fruits n veggies
I've worked for doctors who swear by it, but you don't have to spend a lot of money. Go to Walgreens or your local drug store and get a bottle of Magnesium Citrate. It comes in different flavors and it will cleanse you! It's very inexpensive - like $2 a bottle.
If your body is not doing what it should go to a Doctor! Colon cleansing has become a diet source and sexual tool. If you love your self and your body, let it do the job God designed it to do. When your friend has colon cancer or polyp's or some other disease you will be around to be at her / his side.

Good Luck
i did a cleanse once a few years ago and to be honest im very happy i did. i felt so much healthier afterwards, and i even lost around 10 lbs.
funny cause recently i've been thinking about doing it again.
i would not pay hundreds of dollars for any type of cleanse. i used one from Natures Sunshine, that probably cost around 60-80 bucks tops. It's not the most tastey thing in the world, and it took about 2 weeks but in the end its worth it. You should definately do it, but I would reccomend staying away from anything that tells you to take solid pills. I'm more with the powders and stuff, I feel they'd work better.
p.s. if it gives you the runs, its probably not cleansing anything, the point is for it to push out toxins... i know that sounds gross... but its true haha. sorreee.
p.s.s. i'm not trying to sell you anything, i just trust the brand Natures Sunshine. www.naturessunshine.com
Hell no. My anus is an exit only.
Just eat a can of good old pork and beans right out of the can. that will blast everything out.
My step son has done this and says he feels 100% better. I forgot the link, I'm sorry. I personally would not do it unless it guaranteed a 10lb weight loss. LOL
