People saw that you have to cleanse, tone %26amp; moisturize every night to have acne free skin. And i'm just wondering what they mean when they say ';cleanse, tone %26amp; moisturize';, how do you do every step? And what products are best to use but isn't too expensive?Cleanse, tone %26amp; moisturize???
Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing are the 3 basic steps to any healthy skin care regimen, whether you have acne or not. Generally for acne skin a foaming cleanser with Salicylic acid is a good choice,followed by a salicylic toner (a liquid that you apply to cotton and wipe the face with), then an oil-free moisturizer- preferrably one with an SPF of at least 15 for daytime. I highly recommend finding an esthetician in your area to help get you set up on professional products that are chosen just for your skin. Drug store and even department store skin care is not usually very good quality- they contain lots of filler ingredients that do nothing for you and often times irritants such as artificial colors and fragrances. It means that you clean your face with a face cleaner, then you tone it with a toner, which helps to restore your faces ph balance. Then, you use a moisturizing lotion that it meant specifically for the face. The directions are usually on the back. Proactiv works very well; I am a huge fan. If you have really bad acne, and nothing seems to work, you may speak to a dermatologist. I finally had to go on Accutane, which is a pretty heavy duty medication, but made my skin look as smooth as the day I was born.
use olay or dove facial wipes. apparently it does all 3 in one pad. i use it more or less every morning and i usually dont get pimples
after a long day, i tone again. i use eskinol (imported from the philippines)
whta people mean when they say you will have acne free skin if u clean,tone, and moistuize is that if you apply the three steps that you can find on acne free products then ur face will be clear. anyway, there will be a bottle to cleanse ur face, match ur tone, and then ther eis a lotion type bottle to moisurize.i perfer proactive~!~
