Hello, l heard that the clean and clear continuous acne cleanser dries out your face like badly. ( by the way, i got that today, so im willing to try)
im lost with the toner and moisturizer.
*so my question is, can i use two different company's for the facewash and toner?
my facewash is the clean and clear continuous acne cleanser and my toner is the biore in the green bottle. does this mean i also have to use a clean and clear toner?Acne cleansing again..? sorry!?
It's completely fine to mix and match products of different lines and brands. As long as you know what you're using. Although some say that it's better to use products coming from the same line to increase their effectiveness.
I had some experiences with the Biore astringent, and it worked great at first, but became very drying after a while due to its alcohol content. If you feel that your cleanser is drying your face out, try to find a different toner, as the Biore one will dry it out even more.
Follow up with a good moisturizer to make sure your skin doesn't become flaky and irritated.
Good luck! xxAcne cleansing again..? sorry!?
I can't stress how important v isiting a dermatologist is! You might be embarrassed at first but this truly is the best way to get rid of unwanted acne. They can advise you on moisturizing, get the best medicine for your skin.If you have the flu or a broken arm do you go pick out medicine for yourself? Acne is no different. Take the time to make an appointment and you will areciate the results.
i hate having to buy tons of moisturizers and stuff so i experimented and came up with clean and clear Again__so i tried thias overnight cleanser junk and it worked afta 3 days of using it every night my acne was gone!!!! you can try this but who nows if it will work....
But i hope it does
:)
your fine i use tea tree oil then witch hazel then i use tazorac for black heads and whit heads the dermatologist per scribed, they told me to use Cetaphil anti-bacterial bar but i saw it wasn't working well they prescribed me something stronger but not much better so i had to find something and now i have very mild acne except on my shoulders there kinda bad :(
mixing %26amp; matching is fine, they dont advertise buying the products from the same line because in most cases people will buy all of them. if you can find products that work for you from different brand names then that's perfect for you! ..
ps. go on skinid.com and take the quiz and see what kind of medication your skin needs and search for products in the store that include the things your quiz results said!
My reconmendations is not to use anything clear. It usally contains alachol which yes does dry out your face. Only use that once every like 3-4 days and youll be fine. Try to use lotions more. and keep your face clean. But dont over do it on the acne products. Use Natural things like aloe and stuff like that. Hope it helps!
You can use different brands . .whatever works for you. There are two helpful websites that rate products you can find at your nearest target or drugstore. They are:
drugstore.com
acne.org
i don't think so.
but then again i don't know much about toner.
if you use clean and clear then mouserize twice a day. before bed and in the morning.

i'd stick straight with the clean and clear and not mix products being that they are specifically designed to cooperate with each other!
i use clean and clear and it works really well. my face only dries out when i use the persa gel 10 too much though!
no no no you're fine. the products you got are fine and will work great. you don't need to use the same brands. They're both replicable brands that work very well. i've used them both and find that they both work ]great. good luck :]
